Tea Cup Winnings

In the previous post, I showed you all the gifts I had made for the Tea Cup Auction at our Christmas  Party with my stitching friends in Columbus, GA.  How this works is you buy tickets and them drop them into the cup of whatever gift you want to win.  the cost was 100 tickets for $20.  Great deal and a great fundraiser for our group.

Below were the freebies that contributed - among them is a little kit from Fern Ridge along with a little sewing kit.
Here is my winnings - a bag of various linens, two charts one with linen and wool felt, a pin cube made from paper and then this darling Longaberger basket filled with an acorn waxer, an acorn magnet, a small glass tube for needles and a stitched pin cushion made from a napkin ring and 3 beaded pins.

One of our ladies' husband love to go yard saling and he picks up all kinds of interesting things.  Below is a neat sewing table that I was lucky to win.
Can you believe that somebody actually got rid of these darling Santas!!
These are what I call pity tickets, I dropped one ticket into the cup and of course I win them.  I put the tickets in to encourage others - but I have to tell you, I love them - some I might just reframe.

Now this is one of my favorite things - it is a knitted scarf made by someone I really admire and I was so excited that I won her contribution to the Tea Cup.

Thank you for stopping by.  Merry Christmas.

Roberta
