On one of my groups, several of the gals decided to have a monthly ornament SAL. We started in December and I was able to stitch 3 little ornament this month.
This is my first December ornament.
This is my second stitched "Believe" - love this simple little design from The Sampler Girl. I think I like the lettering which is just really neat!! The background fabric is what I hope to finish this ornament in.
I had stitched this stocking some time ago, but have never finished it until now. This is a matching stocking that I gave to my girlfriend a few years ago - this is for her husband.
Wishing you all a Wonderful and Happy New Year ----- Roberta

Roberta, such wonderful finishes! I also love Tanya's ornament and have seen it on many blogs already, finished in so many different ways. Yours looks great, too.
The stocking is such a beauty. Isn't it terrible that we have finished stitching so many great projects and then we don't do the finishing on them at once. I have a drawer full of stitched things. I should make it one of my goals to finish one of them each month of the new year.
Happy New Year to you and your family!

Very cute stitched items. Everything I do, I am never sure how to finish. I just get Heidi on Skype and say helpppppppppppp.
That's the easy way out, and she always knows.
Happy New Year to you and your family.

I love your ornaments! Isn't Believe a fun one, and you have finished it so pretty. I like the little stocking for your friend's husband too - it's very sweet!
How wonderful of you to make your girlfriend and her husband matching stockings! And your believe finish is lovely too :) Happy New Year!
What lovely stitching! I agree, Tanya's freebie design is just irresistable. :D
Wishing you a wonderful 2009!
Roberta, hi there,
I love that little design by Tanya too. That simple word conveys so much meaning and gives so much hope. I love both your versions. They look completely different on the different coloured fabrics.
The stocking is absolutely gorgeous.
Hugs, Angela
