Springtime in the garden

Thought I would wander outside today with the camera to share the beauty that is starting in my yard.

This is the Weeping Willow that we received as a housewarming gift from our realtor and we had it moved to the back yard a few weeks ago.
For Terry's and my 30th anniversary we planted a Blood Red Japanese Maple.
Below are some shots of the creek that runs behind our house - the 1st picture is where 2 creeks come together.
This is a view from the back of the house looking to the left.
Another view of where the waters meet.
This is looking to the right from our backyard.
Once the summer comes you cannot see the creeks or even walk back to them for all of the foliage and plants.

Below is the cherry trees budding and blossoming - Macon will begin its annual Cherry Blossom Festival this weekend. Here are some of my pansy's in the front yard. The Camilla bushes have been in bloom all through February and are still blooming.

Here is the Dogwood tree down near the creek. The front door with spring flowers and sprigs of silk Cherry Blossoms. Almost everyone decorates their door or mailboxes with pink bows and Cherry Blossom sprigs.

Beautiful Roberta, and I can just feel the spring weather from your photos! I think it's so romantic to plant a tree for your anniversary, and your pansies are so pretty. How fun that everyone decorates with cherry blossoms! We were looking around our house yesterday and redbud, bradford pear and forsythia are in bloom. We have so many Dogwoods here - they are budded! Isn't it exciting to watch everything come to life again?

Hi Roberta, Thank you for a magical trip around your garden, the creek looks so inviting. I love silver birch trees, (might have something to do when I was a guide and we use to sing "Land of the Silver BIrch"), I have a small one in my garden and am excited for the trunk is now turning to silver. Your photos are amazing and makes one feel as thou they really are there.
Have a good trip to your sisters.
Love Hazel (UK)

Thanks for the garden tour, Roberta! I miss seeing Japanese maples and weeping willows! We used to have a weeping willow tree as kids. I loved it. Great pics!

What a pretty garden. How nice that your realtor gave you a weeping willow. Are you back home now for a while to enjoy spring at your home? Home and stitching? :-)

Hugs ~

Good day, sun shines!
There have been times of troubles when I didn't know about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright pessimistic person.
I have never thought that there weren't any need in big starting capital.
Now, I'm happy and lucky , I started to get real income.
It's all about how to choose a correct partner who uses your funds in a right way - that is incorporate it in real deals, parts and divides the profit with me.

You may get interested, if there are such firms? I have to tell the truth, YES, there are. Please be informed of one of them:
