One of the online groups I belong to is doing a monthly SAL on Christmas Ornaments. The goal is to at least stitch one ornament a month. I am trying to at least finish as I go.
Below is my January ornament it was a kit from Fern Ridge and it is a lamb and there were words on the design (BAA Humbug), but I left them off and made the design into a hanging biscornu. Below is the front (it was a beaded lamb/sheep) I love sheep and I also love hedghogs!!
This is the back. This ornament I had stitched a year ago Christmas and I finally finished it.
Here is the back - I found a package of rusted jingle bells so I thought it would look good on the ornament - what do you think?
This is my 3rd stitch of Tanya Anderson's The Sampler Girls design. This is a different pillow style then my previous finishes. Found the buttons at my quilt shop thought they added a nice touch.
And finally, I finished the fingerless mittens for my son. It was an interesting pattern, not sure I really liked it!! need to find another pattern. My daughter, niece and nephew need a pair!!!
Well, I am off to get some stitching done and to listen to my book on tape. Later this evening, my daughter, husband and I will watch Heroes. We are watching them on DVD and we are just finishing season 1. I know I am a bit behind!!!!
Hope you all are having a good week -- thanks for stopping by --- Roberta

Roberta,
What a really gorgeous collection of ornaments. I love the little one with the rustic bell on it. What a great feeling to get an old project stitched and made up.
The fingerless mitts look wonderful, no wonder all the family want a pair! You've really been busy. I don't know how you fit it all in :>)
Warm wishes Angela :>)
Roberta,
I have just found your blog and see
that you are in Macon. I live in
Chatsworth, GA (northwest). You
are the first cross stitch blogger I have found from Georgia!
I don't have one myself, but love to read others and see all the lovely stitching.
Happy Stitching,
Denise

Roberta, I'm loving those ornaments!! YGG! The mittens are fabulous, too. I'm in awe of the flower arrangements. You're a woman of many talents! :)
Beautiful ornaments Roberta! I love the fabric on your second one, and the rusty jingle bell is perfect! Wow, your finish of Tanya's Believe is stunning! Everything is wonderful.
Roberta,
As always, your projects are lovely. I so enjoyed reading about your SAL ornaments and the wonderful photographs of your home. Your flowers are magnificent...I'm jealous as I love flowers but always manage to forget to water or something else equally fatal. I love the header on your blog...what a creative idea! It was such fun to visit your blog and I, of course, will be back!
Hope your weather is warming up!

Your ornaments are gorgeous Roberta. I love rusty bells too :)
I love the way you've finished I Believe - just perfect.
Oh Roberta, such lovely ornaments. You must have felt great after finishing them. It's always a great sense of accomplishment when something is finished and done and decorates our house, isn't it? Congratulations!
