Good Morning,  Well we have moved into our new house and there are boxes everywhere.  While waiting for some of the contracted work to be done in the new house I was able to do a bit of stitching and knitting.

This is a Merry Cox piece that I started in 2001.

I found this while packing up my sewing room along with other UFO's

so I have pulled out several to work on along with some newer projects.

This is my second attempt at lace knitting.

The lacy part is using a skein of Habu Mohair

the fringe part id Feather Moire

This will be a pretty scarf for the winter weather!

Thank you for visiting.

I'm sure you are very glad that the move is over. Good to know that it went smoothly.
What a great Merry Cox piece you found while packing your things for the move. It's just as old as some of my UFOs, lol. I'm looking forward to seeing you finishing it.
Great scarf!

Roberta ~ If you may, what is the color of the Weekes Dye works in
that beautiful maroon on the Cox red B? I have a one color pattern
I would love to stitch in that hue...... Many thanks. I have moved
so many times that I can hear your sigh of relief from here...lucky
you to have stitchery to occupy you in the off moments....
