At the moment I am working on a Halloween design for an exchange that I am in, so not much to show at the moment, but will have several things to share here in a few days.

The weather has finally cooled down and it is just glorious outside, I just love FALL, the crispness in the air, wearing slacks/jeans, long sleeve shirts and soon sweaters!!!  Snuggling under blankets with the windows open - yuummmyyy.  The leaves are turning and falling - things are just getting so Autumnie (is there such a word???)

Need help finding designs by Paula Heckmann

If you ever had a class with Paula Heckmann, you know what a wonderful lady she is and an incredible teacher.  Paula passed away on July 4, 2011.
The reason for this request is from her husband Gary Heckmann.  He has all of Paula's beads and supplies but is unable to get the designs that go with all the bead packets that he has for both her beading projects and her cutwork designs..

If you have any of Paula's designs please leave you e-mail addy and name in the comment area and if you know the name of the design you have add that also.

The Dogwood Chapter of EGA is compiling what we have amoung ourselves, but we do not have many and the ones we have are duplicate (we all took the same classes ;o)

I will contact Gary with your e=mail addy and have him get in touch with you.

Thank you for your help - Gary and his family does appreciate everyones help.

I am not a robot!!

Hi all, no pictures or anything of great importance for today, but I did want to say that I love to read everyone's blogs and sometimes I do not alway get a chance to comment.

But the other reason for not commenting is the "robot" word/number that one has to fill in at the end of the comment.  Sometimes I will hit is first time and others I can be guessing for 4 or 5 times.  So please know that if after several tries - I just give up!!

Does anyone else have this problem???

Chat with you soon, thank you for stopping by.

PS -- I didn't realize that I had this ROBOT thing on my blog - I hopefully have turned it off.  When I commented on my own blog the word verification did not show up - the comment went right to the blog.  Thank you for letting me know.

Dutch Beauty is out of the bag!!

Good Monday Morning everyone, I know I am posting more than normal, but I am trying to keep my blogging up to date.
Below is a photo of Dutch Beauty, which was started about 10 years ago or so!!!  She has been worked on then put away, pulled out - worked on - put away many times.  But now she has come back out of the bag for she is now my NFL project!!!
A group of stitchers that I belong to through the internet have challenges that we work on.  I joined in on the challenges this past year when the Tour du France was on, working on Fair Charlotte, then it was the Olympics with Lounging Hare and an ornament and a few other odds and ends of stitching and beading.  (Lounging Hare is still in the works)
Well, this newest challenge is the National Football League season (NFL).  Starting on Wednesday, September 5 through to the Super Bowl, we needed to pick a large project (I picked DB), pick one day to work on that project and it doesn't have to be during a football game (I am going to try to stay with the Wednesday).  My goal is to get the first 7 pages out of the 21 pages done.  That will be the first row of Dutch Beauty.

Wish me well, for this will be a daunting task for me, though I love Dutch Beauty, for some reason, I just could not stick with it - but now I must - I have committed to my friends and to myself!.
