Roberta, had time to catch up on your blog, WONDERFUL!! I love all the sewing, love the photo of yourself, Diane and her Mum, they do look so alike and I loved visiting your sewing room, mmmm for an afternoon in there:o) We even have the same desk, I too bought mine from Ikea, I have file boxes on top of mine. I will post pics when it is straight, but I've made a start. It was a pleasure to visit you in your little corner of the web and feel so welcome.

This is lovely Roberta! Thank you for enlarging the photos. The beautiful embroidered details and buttons didn't show up otherwise. You have a talented friend.

Wow Roberta! I just love this tea cosy. There's so much detail on it and the backing fabric with the chicken wire print is just perfect.
What a fun kitchen you have.
When I'm done looking round your sewing room I could enjoy a cup of tea in your rooster kitchen LOL.

Very nice tea cozy and hope it gets to cover many pots of tea. Of course, some good cookies or cake with the tea.

Oh, Roberta, this is just so incredible. Your friend does exquisite work! I simply love the way she did the tail feathers. I think I actually have goosebumps after looking at the close up! Especially since I've been a chicken collector for the last 25 years. Oh, and I'll be joining Margaret for a nice cuppa in that rooster kitchen. LOL

Oh my goodness, I LOVE it!! It's fabulous and SO clever. I love the back with the netting over the fabric - it is netting, isn't it and the little spiderwheel buttons are gorgeous. Did your friend make those?
Thank you so much for showing us. It's full of such clever little techniques.
Hugs, Angela :>)
