Taking a bit of R&R

After all the unpacking and the big move, DH Terry and I drove down to our condo in Florida for a few days of unwinding. We had put the condo up for sale so we want to still enjoy it while we still have it. We also, had a few dinner events with friends that we had been invited to, so we thought it was a good excuse to take a few days off. Terry will teach summer school this year so we will return to Macon on Friday.

I have been able sit and stitch and read which has been so very nice. I have made good progress on the Quaker Sampler from the Piecework magazine. My goal this year is to still work my WIP's and to work on Dutch Beauty. I have a few new projects that I will add once I finish a WIP. Quaker Christmas will step in after I finishe the Piecework Quaker.

I hope to get through a number of my WIPs and also some of my quilt UFOs this year too Roberta. It would be nice to reduce all the stuff sitting around waiting for attention. Your latest Quaker sampler is very cheerful. How large is this one? Enjoy a few days of rest with Terry!

What a bright and cheerful piece, Roberta, and quite lovely. I hope you are enjoying FL and that your weather is better than ours! I'm off to look at Ms. Potter now. Mine is still wrapped in tissue paper waiting for someone to take it to the framer.

Enjoy your time in Florida.

Very beautiful. Will you have a sampler wall, or will they be in different places?

You've made some good progress on your new Quaker, Roberta. It's a great piece and somehow so different from BP, maybe just by using colours for the motifs. I love it.

Yous BP is such a beauty. In your new house you certainly have enough wall space to find the perfect place for it.

Hi! I am about to start my own website and was wondering if you know where the best place to acquire a blog url is?
I'm not even sure if that's what its known as? (I'm new to this) I'm referring
to "http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=8995748515195661212&postID=6386174982418559370".

How do I go about getting one of these for the
website I'm building? Cheers
